Shivhar. A 35-year-old woman died on the spot after being hit by a tractor laden with soil on Cinema Hall Road in the city on Friday morning. A seven year old child was also badly injured in this accident. During this time, nearby local people chased and caught the tractor driver. Local people including BJP District General Secretary Radhakant Gupta alias Bachchu took the injured child and woman to Saroja Sitaram Sadar Hospital for treatment.
The woman was declared dead
On reaching Sadar Hospital, the doctors there declared the woman dead. The doctors also started treating the injured child. At the same time, eyewitnesses said that the tractor carrying soil of illegal soil mining without number plate was coming at a high speed from Fatehpur direction. Near the turn leading to Shivhar BRC located at the cinema hall, the tractor hit a woman with a child in her lap. .
The woman was returning home after giving tea to her husband at the shop.
Devendra Sah, husband of deceased 35-year-old Rani Devi, told that he had gone to open Nandani Sweets shop at some distance from his house in the morning. Also, after some time, his wife Rani Devi reached the shop with tea for her husband and her seven year old child in her lap. And she was returning home after giving tea. Meanwhile, a tractor carrying soil collided at high speed.

Devendra Sah, husband of the deceased, told that he is a resident of Athri under Runisaidpur police station area and he had married Rani Devi, daughter of Chhote Lal Sah, resident of Pashurampur in Sitamarhi district, in the year 2012. Living in Shivhar district for the last eight years, both husband and wife used to earn their living by running a shop. It is said that the deceased woman has three small children.
