Will JDS merge with BJP? Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah said this

Bengaluru: Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said on Wednesday that it would not be surprising if Janata Dal (Secular) merges with Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the coming days. Describing the party led by former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda as communal after the alliance with the BJP, he urged the JDS to remove the word ‘secular’ from its name.

Politics and votes will be polarized

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said that in the coming days there will be political polarization and polarization of votes in the country, with communal forces on one side and secular forces on the other. BJP will never give up its plan of creating Hindutva and Hindu Rashtra. Deve Gowda and family have joined him.

JDS is not a political party

Addressing a Congress program in Bengaluru, he said that JDS is not a political party, but it is the party of Deve Gowda and family. He said that this is a family party. I think as long as Deve Gowda is there, it will remain as a separate political party and will not merge for political reasons, but after that it will merge. He said that these days JDS leader Kumaraswamy is speaking more against the Congress government than the BJP.

Two JDS MLAs join Congress

The Chief Minister was speaking after inducting former JDS MLA from Tumakuru Rural constituency Gauri Shankar and former Dasarahalli MLA R Manjunath into the Congress. He claimed that more people from JDS will join Congress in the coming days and if he reveals their names today, the JDS leadership may put pressure on him.

JDS MLAs kept in Hassan resort

Siddaramaiah said that the JDS MLAs were kept at a resort in Hassan and were forced to do certain things. They can also do black magic. No one should be afraid of such things. He said that Kumaraswamy is jealous of him and hence is spreading lies about him. He said that I took two chairs from Karnataka Leather Industries Development Corporation Limited (LIDKAR), the money for which was paid by the government.

Kumaraswamy tells lies

On the other hand, Kumaraswamy alleged that someone had brought it for him by paying Rs 2 crore. Will two chairs cost Rs 2 crore? just lie. On Kumar Swamy’s allegation, Siddaramaiah said that Kumaraswamy lies 99.99999 percent out of a hundred. Describing the regional party as communal, the Chief Minister said that I will not call Janata Dal as ‘S’ (secular), because after joining hands with BJP, they will have to remove the ‘S’ (secular word). He is not entitled to add ‘S’ to his party’s name because they are no longer a secular party. He said that the leaders have left the communal Janata Dal and joined the secular Congress and I welcome them.
