Will Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal be arrested? ED sent fifth summons, called for questioning in liquor scam

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has once again issued summons to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in the Delhi liquor scam case. ED has issued this fifth summons against CM Arvind Kejriwal. In this time’s summons, ED has asked CM Kejriwal to join the investigation on February 2 in the ongoing investigation in the Delhi Excise Policy case. It is noteworthy that before this, ED had issued four more summons, which CM Kejriwal had termed as an act of revenge.

Conspiracy to arrest- Arvind Kejriwal
ED had earlier issued summons against Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal on January 17, January 3, December 21 and November 2. However, CM Kejriwal did not appear before the ED in response to any summons. On the other hand, regarding the continuous summons issued by ED, Aam Aadmi Party has claimed that the entire action of ED is a conspiracy to arrest Arvind Kejriwal. AAP has claimed that ED wants to arrest CM Kejriwal by calling him on the pretext of questioning.

Kejriwal has called ED’s summons illegal

Let us tell you, ED is continuously issuing summons against Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, but CM Kejriwal is calling the ED summons illegal every time. He had recently said that he is ready to accept every legal summons, but ED’s summons is illegal. Kejriwal has called it politically motivated.

ED will inquire into liquor scam case

ED is sending summons to CM Arvind Kejriwal for questioning in the Delhi liquor scam case. Actually, ED is trying to interrogate Kejriwal in connection with the money laundering case related to liquor scam. Earlier, ED had arrested Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia and Sanjay Singh in the liquor scam case. Sisodia and Sanjay Singh are lodged in Tihar jail since last year.
