BJP MP from Jharkhand Nishikant Dubey has said in the application filed in the apex court that since the entire reason for the instant petition arises out of the complaint made by him (Dubey) on October 15, 2023, therefore, it is appropriate and in the interest of justice That they should be included as a necessary party. A bench headed by the Chief Justice on Wednesday took cognizance of the arguments of senior advocate Abhishek Singhvi, appearing for Mahua Moitra. Chief Justice Chandrachud said that he will look into the aspect of listing of the petition during lunch. Requesting to list the petition for hearing on Thursday or Friday, Singhvi argued that he is the member who has been expelled from the Lok Sabha.
