On Tuesday, unknown assailants in Jaipur attacked the National President of Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena. Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi Shot dead. According to the police, Gogamedi was taken to the hospital after being shot, where he died.
One attacker also died in the firing
Jaipur Police Commissioner Biju George Joseph said, one attacker was also killed in the firing that took place in Shyamnagar area on Tuesday afternoon. He said that efforts are being made to identify and arrest the two accused who fled after snatching a scooter from a person from outside Gogamedi’s house. The entire incident was recorded on CCTV. We are trying to identify and trace the two accused involved in the incident. Those plotting the murder will also be caught.

How the attackers killed Gogamedi
According to the Police Commissioner, three people went to Gogamedi’s residence and told his security personnel that they wanted to meet Gogamedi. The security personnel took him inside where he talked to Gogamedi for ten minutes. After this, they opened fire on them. CCTV video of the entire incident has also surfaced, in which the attackers can be seen opening fire.
Security personnel also got shot in the firing
Police Commissioner Biju George Joseph said Gogamedi security personnel were also shot, while one of the three accused, Naveen Singh Shekhawat, also died in the firing. After the incident, two attackers came out of the house and snatched a scooter from a person and ran away.
Who was Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi?

Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi was part of Lokendra Singh Kalvi’s Shri Rajput Karni Sena, which led the protests against Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmaavat’.

Following differences with Karni Sena founder and patron Lokendra Singh Kalvi, Gogamedi broke away from Shri Rajput Karni Sena in 2015 and formed Shri Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena.

Both these organizations had opposed the film Padmavat for alleged tampering with historical facts in the context of the Rajput community.
