Before the Lok Sabha elections, electoral bonds have become a topic of discussion across the country. According to the data released by State Bank of India (SBI) on the orders of the Supreme Court, the maximum amount of money has been deposited in BJP’s fund through this bond.
Rs 1397 crore deposited in TMC’s fund through electoral bonds
Trinamool Congress is in second place. About Rs 1,397 crore was deposited in its fund through electoral bonds. Congress is at number three. The opposition has started targeting Trinamool for getting more funds than Congress.
Kunal Ghosh made this claim on electoral bonds
In a press conference held at Trinamool Bhawan here, the party’s state general secretary Kunal Ghosh claimed that Trinamool did not know who had given the party as electoral bonds and how much amount.
Don’t know who put the bonds in the drop box outside Trinamool Bhavan
He further said that a drop box is kept in front of Trinamool Bhawan, the headquarters of All India Trinamool Congress. There is no way of knowing who deposited how much amount in the form of electoral bonds in that box. This is because according to the law brought by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), no name of the person giving will be mentioned, only alpha-numeric code will be used.

BJP implemented electoral bond system in the country: Kunal Ghosh
It was not mentioned anywhere which company or who the donor was. BJP implemented this system in the country. They knew who gave them the money, because they probably brought the money into their funds through central agencies, but Trinamool does not have ED, CBI, Income Tax.
There is no purpose in asking the question who gave money to Trinamool
He said that we opened the drop box kept in front of Trinamool Bhawan after a certain time. Those drafts were not deposited in the bank account of any particular person, but in the bank account of the party. There is no point in asking the question from whom Trinamool got so much money.
