When will the suspense over the Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan end? This is the latest update

Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan Suspense still continues regarding the name of the Chief Minister. Five days have passed since the election results came out, but BJP has still not been able to take a decision regarding the name of the CM. However, observers have been appointed for all three states. It is expected that very soon all three states will get new Chief Ministers.

Chief Minister’s name may be announced in Chhattisgarh on Sunday

There will be a meeting of 54 newly elected BJP MLAs on Sunday to elect the leader of the legislative party in Chhattisgarh. After the meeting, the ‘suspense’ on who will be the Chief Minister is likely to end. Party’s state president Arun Sao said on Saturday, the BJP legislature party meeting will be held on Sunday. Three observers of the party, Union ministers Arjun Munda and Sarbananda Sonowal and party general secretary Dushyant Kumar Gautam will be present in the meeting. Apart from this, Chhattisgarh in-charge Om Mathur, Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya and party’s co-in-charge for the state Nitin Nabeen will also be present there.

BJP won 54 out of 90 seats in Chhattisgarh.

Chhattisgarh BJP has won 54 out of 90 seats in the assembly elections. Whereas Congress, which had won 68 seats in 2018, has been reduced to 35 seats. Gondwana Gantantra Party (GGP) managed to win one seat.

Legislative party meeting to be held in Madhya Pradesh on December 11

There is a possibility of a meeting of the legislative party in Madhya Pradesh on 11th December. Manohar Lal Khattar, K Laxman, Asha Lakra will hold a meeting with MLAs and then select the name of the Chief Minister. It is expected that the name of the CM will be announced by Monday evening.

In the 230 assembly elections of Madhya Pradesh, BJP has achieved a huge majority by winning a total of 163 seats. Current Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has played a big role in the victory of Madhya Pradesh. Due to the fear of anti-incumbency, the Chief Minister’s face was not put forward initially, but keeping all possibilities aside, BJP under the leadership of Shivraj registered a spectacular victory. Shivraj is leading in the race for the post of Chief Minister. Apart from Shivraj, names of Jyotiraditya Scindia, Narendra Singh Tomar, Prahlad Singh Patel as well as party’s National General Secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya are being discussed for the post of Chief Minister.

In the elections held on 199 seats in Rajasthan, BJP ousted Congress from power by winning 115 seats. After the victory, the decision of the new Chief Minister has not been taken yet. Some prominent faces for the post of CM include Vasundhara Raje. Apart from this, the names of Diya Kumari, Mahant Balak Nath and Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore are running at the forefront.

Out of 90 assembly seats in Chhattisgarh, BJP registered a landslide victory in 54 and ousted Congress from power. Five years ago, Congress had also ousted BJP from power. The oldest party Congress was reduced to 35 seats in this election. Many names including Raman Singh, Arun Saav, OP Chaudhary and Gomti Sai are in discussion for the new Chief Minister.
