Possibility of thunderstorm in north-south areas

At the same time, there is a possibility of forming a low pressure area in the Bay of Bengal from Sunday. For this reason, there is a possibility of rain in the north and south-east parts and thunderstorm in the north-south areas in the next 24 hours. People faced problems due to water logging
Due to heavy rains many roads of the city were flooded. Due to this people faced a lot of trouble. Due to the construction work of double decker and metro in Ashok Rajpath, people faced problems in commuting due to the road being broken and filled with rain water. During the rain, one to one and a half feet of water accumulated in front of JP Golambar in Gandhi Maidan Circle. Due to this, people commuting faced a lot of problems. It is cloudy today in Patna and surrounding areas. Electricity is also being disrupted due to rain.
Risk of diseases increases due to water logging
People are facing problems due to water logging in many areas. A big pumping set has been installed by the Municipal Corporation of Muzaffarpur district for drainage of water in Gupta Lane Shri Ram Colony of Ward No. 31. Apart from this, JCB was used to clean the blocked drains and culverts at various places. The city manager says that after the installation of a big pumping set, the water accumulated in the locality will be released quickly. The problem of dengue has also increased due to water logging. In view of water logging at many places after the rains, the Health Department has carried out spraying in government hospitals to prevent dengue. An order has also been given to spread the word about the possibility of spread of dengue and chikungunya diseases due to water logging, so that people can become aware of it and protect themselves and their families. Spraying is being done in the district hospitals as per the instructions of the State Health Committee. At present, spraying is being started in those places where there is a possibility of finding patients. Special wards have been created in all hospitals. Water logging is the main cause of dengue and chikungunya diseases.
Rain warning in most districts
An alert has been issued for children suffering from AIS due to increased humidity in the last 72 hours. CS has asked PHC in-charges to intensify awareness campaign regarding AES. Along with this, if symptoms of AES are seen in any child, then treat him/her immediately in PHC on priority basis. Due to increase in humidity, there is a possibility of increase in outbreak of AIS. In view of this we will have to remain in alert mode. There is a need to give more momentum to the awareness campaign that has been going on for the last three-four months. Keep a special eye on children below 10 years of age. The vehicles which have been tagged at the Panchayat level. In this regard, instructions were given to analyze how much they are being used. Take a list of whether AES medicine is available in government hospitals or not and make the medicine available. People are waiting for heavy rains in the state and everyone should watch the humidity. There is a warning of rain in most parts. Soon people may get relief from humidity.
