When will Delhi’s schools open? Government withdrew its order

A news is coming regarding the schools of Delhi. According to the information, the government on Saturday canceled this order, just hours after extending the winter vacation in schools of the national capital till January 10. The Education Directorate of Delhi has given information in this regard. According to the news coming in, the order to extend winter vacation in Delhi schools was withdrawn on Saturday night. Earlier, the Directorate had said that due to the harsh winter in Delhi, the winter vacation in schools has been extended till January 10. Later, a Delhi government official said that there was some mistake in this order.

On behalf of the official of Delhi’s Directorate of Education, it has been said that the order to extend the winter vacation was issued by mistake. Work has been done to withdraw the order immediately. A decision on this will be taken on Sunday morning. Let us tell you that the winter vacation ended on Saturday and schools are going to reopen from Monday.

It is noteworthy that cold wave and fog continues in Delhi. India Meteorological Department has issued ‘Yellow Alert’ due to dense fog, light rain and drop in temperature for the next few days. Homeless people are living in night shelters to escape the increasing cold in Delhi. Light fog was seen in Delhi on Saturday morning and the maximum temperature was recorded at 15.2 degrees Celsius, which is four degrees Celsius less than the average of this season. The weather department has predicted clear sky on Sunday.

Holidays in schools of Noida, Greater Noida

Meanwhile, the Gautam Buddh Nagar administration on Saturday ordered holidays till January 14 for students up to class 8 in all schools of Noida and Greater Noida in view of the dense fog and cold weather conditions. This order issued by District Basic Education Officer Rahul Panwar is applicable to all schools recognized by the state board, CBSE, ICSE, IB and others.
