BJP candidate from Dhanbad Lok Sabha constituency and MLA from Baghmara Dhullu Mahato has sent a notice to MLA Saryu Rai. Saryu Rai has confirmed receiving the notice and said that Dhullu Mahato has sent a threatening legal notice.
He said that the said notice does not deserve a reply and deserves to be thrown in the wastebasket. Tore it and threw it in the wastebasket. If Dhullu Mahato has the courage, then he should directly approach the court and file a defamation case against him.
Shri Rai said that sending me a legal notice is an election trick. This is a conspiracy to divert public attention from the criminal cases against him. Will expose this.
In the legal notice, Dhullu Mahato has described Saryu Rai as having feudal mentality and anti-backward community and anti-poor mentality. He said that if Mr. Mahato is interested in making the people of Dhanbad Lok Sabha constituency aware of the allegations leveled against him, then he will get pamphlets and posters made and put them up at the intersections of Dhanbad Lok Sabha constituency.

Saryu Rai said that he will also mention in the poster those incidents in which Shri Mahato has committed heinous atrocities not only on the backward class but also on his own community and has been dominating them.
Shri Rai said that the state in-charge of BJP and other leaders should also be aware that the Senior Superintendent of Police of Dhanbad himself has written a letter to the Jharkhand High Court about the existence of 46 cases against Dhullu Mahato. Out of these, conviction has been given in four cases, the remaining 4 cases have been registered after the letter written by the Senior Superintendent of Police of Dhanbad to the Jharkhand High Court.
