Filmmaker Anil Sharma has revealed that the team of Gadar 2 believes that the hammer scene in Gadar 2 could have been tried in many films, but he could have looked good in it too. Anil Sharma has now said in the interview, however, that the team is sure that no one could have done it the way Sunny Deol had acted in the scene. Speaking about the famous scene, Anil said that he along with a team of 10-15 of his members were sitting and discussing the hammer scene. I asked him, ‘How would you feel if the big heroes of Bollywood and South did this scene?’ They unanimously say, ‘Woh log karte toh bhi achcha lagta hai, but jaise Sunny sir lag rahe hai, waisa koi nahi lagta.’ Gadar 2 reunites Sunny with Ameesha Patel and Utkarsh Sharma, who will be seen in new roles. Sakina and Jeete reprise their roles in the film. Sunny is also back in his avatar of Tara Singh from the first film Gadar: Ek Prem Katha. Veteran actor Nana Patekar has lent his voice to the film.
