G-20 Summit: India is hosting the G20 summit. The G-20 summit will be held in the country’s capital Delhi on 9th and 10th September. Delhi is being decorated like a bride for the event. From traffic to security, tight arrangements have been made in Delhi. The traffic route has been diverted. Many online services have also been banned. However, in the meantime the administration has withdrawn some restrictions. In this context, the in-charge of Daryaganj police station has withdrawn the order in which offices, shops, vehicle parking, DTC depots and other things located in the area were asked to remain closed during the G20 summit.

What orders were given to keep closed?
It is noteworthy that according to the order issued on Sunday, all government/private offices at Rajghat, Asaf Ali Road, JLN Marg, Netaji Subhash Marg, Nishad Raj Marg, Dayanand Road, Kedarnath Marg, Padmachand Marg and Ansari Road in Daryaganj and in Daryaganj police station area, Shops, commercial establishments, offices, cinema halls, vehicle parking, banks and schools, DTC/cluster bus depot at Rajghat will be closed from 10 pm on September 7 to 10 pm on September 10 for the G20 summit. Later, the station in-charge issued another order on Monday and canceled Sunday’s order. It was said in Monday’s order that it has been withdrawn on administrative grounds and it should be considered cancelled.

There will be a ban on these online delivery services
Here, Delhi Police said on Monday that during the G20 summit, there will be a ban on all online delivery services except medicines in New Delhi district. Special Commissioner of Police, Traffic, SS Yadav, while talking to the media, said that no change has been made in the traffic advisory issued by the police on August 25 regarding G20. He said, essential services like postal and medical services, collection of samples for medical examination will be allowed in New Delhi. Commercial activities will not be allowed in the district. Online delivery services will not be allowed but medicines can be delivered. He said that valid permissions given for essential services will be respected.

Supreme Court Metro station will remain completely closed
Commissioner SS Yadav said that except the Supreme Court station, the rest of the metro services will be affected. He said, due to VIP movement and security restrictions, gates at stations may be closed for 10 to 15 minutes. But metro services at stations other than Pragati Maidan (Supreme Court) will not be affected. Yadav said that people who have booked hotels in New Delhi district, who are traveling to and from the airport or railway station, will be allowed to travel. However, on demand, they will have to show valid documents like their ticket, booking information etc. Let us tell you, the G20 summit is going to be held from 9 to 10 September in the newly constructed International Conference and Exhibition Center Bharat Mandapam at Pragati Maidan.

Chinese President Xi Jinping will not participate in the G20 conference
The G20 summit is being organized on 9 and 10 September. Chinese President Xi Jinping is not participating in the summit to be held in India. It is being told that the Chinese delegation will be headed by Prime Minister Li Qing. Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning said in a brief statement that at the invitation of the Indian government, Prime Minister Li Keqiang will attend the 18th G20 Summit in New Delhi on September 9 and 10. However, no precise answer has been given by China as to why Xi Jinping is not participating in the conference. At the same time, when Mao was asked the reason for Xi not attending, he said that he had only this much information.

These countries are being included in the summit
US President Joe Biden, French President Emmanuel Macron, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva are attending the G20 summit.
