Jio Space Fiber is the third major technology after Jio Fiber and Jio Air Fiber.
What is Jio Space Fiber : Reliance Jio has brought a new technology called Jio Space Fiber to connect remote areas of the country. Jio Space Fiber is a satellite based giga fiber technology, which will connect those remote areas where it is difficult to provide broadband connectivity through fiber cable. This service will be available across the country at very affordable prices. Jio has displayed this technology in the India Mobile Congress going on at Pragati Maidan in Delhi from 27 to 29 October.
The four most remote places of India have been connected by Jio Space Fiber. These include Gir National Park of Gujarat, Korba of Chhattisgarh, Nabarangpur of Orissa and ONGC-Jorhat of Assam.
This is the third major technology in the connectivity portfolio of Reliance Jio after Jio Fiber and Jio Air Fiber. SES company’s satellites will be used to provide broadband connectivity to remote areas through Geo Space Fiber. This means that Jio Space Fiber will now provide reliable multi-gigabit connectivity anywhere and anytime. Jio Space Fiber will use innovative and advanced NGSO technology to deliver satellite-based internet services in challenging areas.
