what is the whole matter

The bank’s spokesperson did not provide any other details to PTI, such as when and how much the actor had taken the loan and what other guarantees he had for the loan. The tender notice further states that the Deols still have the option of repaying the bank dues to prevent the auction from being held under the provisions of the SARFAESI Act of 2002. The actor is officially known as Ajay Singh Dharmendra Deol and has been representing the ruling BJP from the Punjab seat since 2019, when he won the seat with a huge margin defeating the then Congress member Sunil Jhakar. For a long time this seat was represented by another actor Vinod Khanna for Congress.
