The district administration is busy in getting it on the ground. During the inspection, the departmental engineer told that the DPR has been prepared for the new construction in Haat Bazar.

work will start this month

The work will start from this month as soon as the tender process is completed. Right now the shops set up in Haat Bazaar are not organized. Separate lanes for all shops, new sheds, platforms, PCC roads, parking, toilets, green rooms etc. will be made near the stage. Pavers block will also be installed after leveling the Haat Bazaar complex.

Encroachment will be removed from Haat Bazar

A large part of the weekly haat market of Goilkera is in the possession of the encroachers. Without removing the encroachment, new construction is not possible. Illegal encroachment is being done on the land by making shops in Haat Bazar. Deputy Commissioner Ananya Mittal said that instructions have been given to the circle officer of Goilkera to remove the encroachment and measure the land. Action will be taken to remove the encroachment by measuring the market land in a week.
