West Bengal: Uproar in Assembly over rejection of BJP’s adjournment motion, Shubhendu Adhikari walks out

of West Bengal Assembly There was once again an uproar in the Assembly and BJP leader Subhendu Adhikari and other MLAs walked out of the Assembly. BJP leaders say that tea workers should not be given land lease, but land ownership rights. The main opposition party had brought an adjournment motion. BJP MLA Manoj Oraon was allowed to read the resolution but Speaker Biman Banerjee did not allow discussion on it. And then the commotion started. BJP MLAs started protesting inside the assembly by raising slogans. After this he went out. Manoj Oraon also said that the administration is not playing a proper role in fulfilling the rights of tea workers. Therefore, they will raise their demands in the coming days also. Shubhendu Adhikari said that the announcement made in the budget will not provide any benefit to the tea workers.
