Birbhum, Mukesh Tiwari : After Birbhum District Trinamool Congress Party President Anubrata Mandal goes to Tihar Jail in the cow smuggling case in West Bengal. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee (Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, Strict instructions have been issued from Kalighat to the core committee regarding nine members prepared in Birbhum district. People have already been asked to gear up for re-interference in the two Lok Sabha seats of the district, Bolpur and Birbhum. Till now, Trinamool Congress has been winning both the Lok Sabha seats of Bolpur and Birbhum. Trinamool Congress MPs have won the last Lok Sabha elections in 2014 and 2019. Even in 2021, Trinamool had got excellent results here. However, if political circles are to be believed, Anubrata Mandal was handling the responsibility of this district for a long time. But in the absence of Anubrata, now after the formation of the core committee of Trinamool Congress in the district, this committee is taking care of it. Sometimes the ruling party has to face problems. Recently, BJP leader and Home Minister Amit Shah went to Birbhum district and held meetings regarding the organization. Standing on the soil of this district, he had set the target of 35 Lok Sabha seats across the state.
Anubrata Mandal arrested by CBI in 2022
Therefore, Trinamool Congress is paying extra attention to this district. Anubrata Mandal was arrested by the CBI in August 2022 in the cow smuggling case. Later, ED also got involved in this case and then ED took Anubrata to Delhi. Anubrata is currently in Tihar Jail. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee visited Birbhum district and announced that she will organize the party in this district. A few months ago, he had held a separate meeting with Trinamool Congress leaders from Birbhum district. After which an announcement was also made by forming a 9-member Trinamool District Party Core Committee in Birbhum.
Core committee members instructed to meet leaders and workers
The core committee members were instructed to go block by block and meet party leaders and workers. Emphasis was laid on making strategies by meeting block leaders at least once a week. The ruling party had performed well in the Panchayat elections in Birbhum district. However, in view of the Lok Sabha elections, the BJP leadership has intensified its political agenda in the district. BJP is again using the Bogtui incident as an election weapon. The BJP will also decide its election strategy regarding the consecration of Ram Lalla’s life in the Ram temple. In such a situation, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee can again decide a new strategy regarding Birbhum District Core Committee.
