TMC general secretary Kunal Ghosh, while addressing a press conference, claimed that the Bharatiya Janata Party is afraid of losing the Lok Sabha seat in the state. BJP’s control over Election Commission

Kunal Ghosh said, BJP is trying to misuse all the institutions including the Election Commission. They are also interfering in the appointment of election commissioners by changing the appointment committee. The step taken today is a glaring example of BJP’s control over the Election Commission. He said, even if BJP changes 100 such officers, it does not matter because the people of West Bengal are with Mamata Banerjee. Elections for 42 Lok Sabha seats of West Bengal will be held in seven phases, starting from April 19.
