The soldiers saw a female smuggler coming towards the Domination Line with a bag in her hands. The soldiers warned the woman and asked her to stop. Seeing the soldiers, the woman started sweating and tried to run away, then the woman guard caught the smuggler woman and started searching her, after which 12 gold biscuits were recovered from her bag and she told that she had 10 biscuits in her kitchen garden. Has been hidden from before also. After searching the kitchen garden, a female smuggler was arrested with a total of 22 biscuits.

Bangladeshi man had given him a plastic packet

The identity of the female smuggler is Jashoda Shikdar, she is a resident of North 24 Parganas. During interrogation, she told that she earns Rs 120 per day by working as a laborer in other fields and earns her living. On Tuesday she had gone to the field to collect potatoes and mustard leaves. When a Bangladeshi man named Majnu gave him a small plastic packet and told him to keep it in his house and Krishna Pad Mandal, son of Gopal Mandal, resident of village Angrel would come and take it. He had taken a small packet from the same person two days ago and had kept it hidden in his premises but till now no one had come to collect it.

A smuggler arrested with 6 gold biscuits

In another incident, soldiers of Border Post Gobardha, 107th Corps, have arrested a smuggler with 6 gold biscuits from their area of ​​responsibility. Shri AK Arya, DIG, Public Relations Officer, South Bengal Frontier expressed happiness over this achievement of the soldiers. He said that notorious smugglers trap poor and innocent people by luring them with small amounts of money.
