Birbhum/Kolkata, Amit Sharma/Mukesh Tiwari: In the film ‘Pushpa’, smuggling of sandalwood through milk tanker is shown. On the same lines, in Shantiniketan police station area of Birbhum, a large number of Ganja smuggling (ganja smuggling, An attempt was made, which was foiled by the Special Task Force (STF) of West Bengal Police. Actually, the smugglers had made a secret chamber under two of their vehicles from the rear deck to the engine. A tunnel was also made behind the rear light and front light of both the vehicles, inside which packets filled with huge quantity of ganja were kept hidden. Police have seized about 90 kg of ganja from both the vehicles. Also, four accused including a woman have been arrested in the case.
