Panagarh, Mukesh Tiwari: Asansol Durgapur Police Commissionerate A sensation spread in the said area after the body of an unidentified girl was found on Friday morning in the bushes along the highway number 19 between Kota village and Sadhu Nagar of Budbud police station area under (Durgapur Police Commissionerate). After receiving information about the incident, Kankasa ACP Suman Kumar Jaiswal along with Budbud police station in-charge Manojit Dhara reached the spot with the police force. After inspection of the body, the body was recovered and sent to Durgapur Divisional Hospital for post-mortem. The way the dead body of an unknown girl was found wrapped in plastic in this area on the side of the highway, the primary guess of the police is that after killing the girl, criminals threw the body here and ran away.
Sensation spread in the area
Seeing the dead body of the said girl, the local people say that after killing the girl somewhere else, the miscreants threw the body here in the bushes on the roadside and ran away. Local people told that this morning some people were passing by the roadside when they became suspicious after seeing the said plastic. Budbud police station was immediately informed. When the police reached the spot and opened the plastic, they found the body of a girl wrapped in it. Seeing this the police and local people were shocked. The primary guess of the police is that the girl has been strangled to death. A mark has been seen on the girl’s neck. Police started investigating the case
After receiving the news, Kankasa ACP Suman Kumar Jaiswal and Budbud police station in-charge Manojeet Dhara reached the spot. ACP said, the age of the deceased girl is between 28-30 years. There are marks of strangulation. Initially it is believed that the body was murdered somewhere outside and thrown here on the side of the national highway. Police have sent the body for post-mortem. Police say that the real cause of death will be known after the post mortem report comes. Efforts are being made by the police to know the name and identity of the deceased girl. At the same time, local people claim that in the environment of Lok Sabha elections, the body of a girl being found in this area has spread panic among the people of the area.
