Local villagers say that out of about 50 cows that were being smuggled in a container on National Highway No. 19 near Ajhpur, some of them were being inhumanely loaded into another container.

Police reached the spot and seized all the cows along with both the containers. Police say that about 50 cows were inhumanely brought here in a container with UP number plate and some cows were being loaded in another container. After the information of the villagers, all the above mentioned cows and both the containers have been confiscated. The primary estimate of the police is that the said cows were being smuggled illegally by hiding them in containers. The drivers and other employees of both the vehicles fled from the spot.

Lakhs of rupees stolen from bike trunk in Siuri
