Along with this, a state-of-the-art bus has been provided by Kolkata Police, which has been named ”Sai Buzz”. In this bus, information about the methods of cyber crime of the last five-six years has been given. Apart from this, people have also been made aware about the current trends of cyber crime.

According to the police, now most of the school students use mobile phones for studies and online classes. It has been observed that bank details of parents and students are present in most of the mobile phones. If students click on the link sent by cyber criminals without knowing, then huge amount of money can go missing from the bank accounts of those students or their parents. School and college students can also become victims of “sextortion” from mob porn videos. It has been seen in the complaints lodged in the police stations that many college students have also become victims of cyber fraud. Due to this, “Sai Buzz” will first be sent outside the schools and colleges of the city. So that students can be told how to avoid cyber fraud.

People will be able to listen to the methods of cyber crimes on the LCD screen inside the bus.

Waqar Reza, Joint Commissioner (Organization), additional charge (Crime), Kolkata Police, said, currently Kolkata Police’s own bus has been adapted to the state-of-the-art shape and has been designed as ‘Sai Buzz’. It will be inaugurated soon. Later, the number of buses and awareness campaign will also be increased as per requirement. Apart from this, the police is also preparing to hold a meeting with some chambers of commerce of Kolkata to stop cyber fraud through fake mail IDs coming to various business organizations. There are large LCD screens installed inside this bus. In which the methods of cyber crime have been explained with the help of pictures and videos in English and Bengali. Along with this, information about avoiding cyber crime has been given through the tab. There is also a cyber quiz for the students inside the bus. Students will see animation on the LCD screen. In which caution will also be given to avoid this by telling about new advanced methods. Posters, stickers and pamphlets will be distributed among the students inside the bus regarding what to do and what not to do to avoid cyber fraud, so that they can make their parents aware about this after going home.

The stickers placed on the outer parts of the bus will also make people aware while passing by.

Officials of Cyber ​​Department say that wherever this bus will be parked, the passengers walking on the roads will also be able to know the detailed information related to cyber crime by looking at the pictures posted outside from a distance. There are more than a dozen QR codes on the exterior of the bus. On scanning these codes, details of how to avoid various types of cyber crimes will be visible on the mobile screen. In which how to avoid “sextortion” on video calls from unknown numbers, do not search the helpline number of any department on the online search engine Google, avoid the lure of attractive offers, do not get trapped in the trap of KYC update on the phone, in public WiFi. Do not do bank related transactions, avoid OTP “sharing”, do not click on unknown links, do not fall into the trap of loan apps, do not fall into the temptation of online shopping, stay away from dating apps, give banking information to unknown people. Don’t give in, as cyber threats are highlighted outside the bus.
