West Bengal News: CBI raids six places of Trinamool MLA Jeevan Krishna Saha

The CBI team on Friday raided six locations of Trinamool MLA Jeevan Krishna Saha in the teacher recruitment scam. MLA’s residence, office and in-laws’ house were also included in the said places. According to CBI sources, documents related to the illegal appointment of teachers for classes IX and X have been recovered during the raid.

Some of these documents are also there, in which it is mentioned that from which applicant, how much money was taken. CBI sources say that all the documents have been seized. Soon it will be presented in the court. On the other hand, CBI officials say that they had questioned some agents in this matter.

During this, it was learned that agents had contacted 24 applicants on the behest of Trinamool MLA Jeevan Krishna Saha. After that money was taken from everyone. After getting this information, it was decided to raid six places of the MLA. Further action will be taken after examining the documents found in the raid on Friday.

ED is also ready to interrogate the MLA

After the CBI raided the Trinamool MLA’s premises, the ED has also started preparing to interrogate the MLA. The ED team will also scrutinize the documents recovered from the MLA’s hideouts, so that they can question the facts in front of them.
