Salary has been increased at three levels

The salary increase was done at three levels. The salary of MLAs was Rs 10,000 per month. It increased to Rs 50 thousand. State ministers used to get Rs 10,900 per month. From now on he will get Rs 50 thousand 900. Apart from this, the salary of former ministers in the state was Rs 11 thousand, this time they will get Rs 51 thousand as salary.

Allowances of MLAs also increased

As per the government’s salary structure, state MLAs till now received a total of Rs 81,000 for allowances and attending committee meetings. This time he will get a total of Rs 1 lakh 21 thousand. Leaders of opposition parties and state ministers and former ministers used to get a total of Rs 1 lakh 10 thousand for so many days. This time he will get around Rs 1.5 lakh. It is noteworthy that Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said that it was very necessary to increase the salaries of ministers and MLAs. The Chief Minister said in the Assembly session that she will not increase her salary.
