West Bengal: ED summons KMC councilor Partha Sarkar in teacher appointment scam, he did not appear

Meanwhile, the ED on Wednesday summoned Kolkata Municipal Corporation ward number 128 councilor and Trinamool Congress leader Partha Sarkar for questioning. Sarkar is also considered close to former education minister Chatterjee. He was asked to appear at the office of the Central Investigation Agency located at CGO Complex in Salt Lake here on the same morning.

At present, former Education Minister Partha Chatterjee is serving his judicial custody in the Presidency Correctional Facility. It is being told that Parth Sarkar is considered one of the close and confidants of the former Education Minister.
