Repair work is being done on Vidyasagar Bridge from time to time for the last few months. For this, a decision has been taken to close this important bridge again. It is being told that earlier the movement of vehicles on Vidyasagar Bridge was partially closed. This time it has been decided to close the bridge for repair work. A notification related to this has been issued by Kolkata Traffic Police. It has been told that this bridge will again be completely closed for a few hours on the coming Saturday. There will be no vehicular movement on this bridge from 1 am on Saturday night till 3 am in the morning.
