Permission for rally to Greater Graduate Teachers Association
The Greater Graduate Teachers Association had filed a petition in the High Court demanding permission to hold the rally, which the High Court has accepted. While hearing the case, Judge Jai Sengupta said that the members of the Teachers Association will be able to take out a rally in front of Saurav Academy of Salt Lake, but they will have to do it between 12 noon to 5 pm. For this, complete security arrangements will have to be made by the police. State Cabinet meeting to be held at CM residence on 12th

According to state secretariat sources, the cabinet meeting will be held on October 12 at the Chief Minister’s residence in Kalighat. Also, officials of the Chief Minister’s Office have been asked to deliver the files related to the cabinet meeting to the CM residence. It is noteworthy that Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee had addressed the reporters from the State Secretariat on September 11 and she was on a tour of Spain and Dubai from September 12 to September 23. Due to leg injury suffered while traveling abroad, doctors have advised him to take rest at home. Some important decisions can be taken in this cabinet meeting to be held before Durga Puja.
