ED again raids the residence of Trinamool Congress leader Shahjahan Sheikh
19 days after an Enforcement Directorate (ED) team was attacked by probe agency officials at the residence of absconding Trinamool Congress leader Shahjahan Shaikh in North 24 Parganas district, allegedly in connection with their probe into the multi-crore rupee ration distribution scam. The raid was conducted again on Wednesday morning. The ED officials, who arrived with more than 120 Central Armed Police Forces personnel, broke down the door of Shaikh’s residence in Sandeshkhali area in the presence of local police and two locals as witnesses, the official said.
