President’s Police Medal to 22 police officers of Bengal on Republic Day
This year, on Republic Day, 22 police officers of West Bengal will be awarded the President’s Police Medal Award. Among these, two police officers of the state, Ajay Mukund Ranade (ADG, Administration) and ADG Intelligence Manoj Kumar Verma will be awarded President’s Vishisht Seva Medal. Along with this, 20 policemen of the state will be given President’s Meritorious Service Medal, which also includes a woman police officer. These especially include CID IGP Rajesh Kumar Yadav, Coastal Security IGP Mitesh Jain, Bidhannagar Police Commissioner Gaurav Sharma and Assistant Sub Inspector Indira Haldar. Along with this, names of many constables, sergeant and sub inspector rank officers have also been selected for giving medals.
