President Draupadi Murmu reached Kolkata
The country’s President Draupadi Murmu is coming to the metropolis on Thursday for a few hours’ visit and during this time she will attend two programs here. According to sources in the President’s Secretariat, President Draupadi Murmu has arrived in Kolkata today. Will reach Raj Bhavan directly from the airport. At the Raj Bhavan, she will launch the anti-drug campaign to be held in Kolkata on the initiative of an NGO. It has been told that the President will have lunch at Raj Bhavan and after lunch, the President will go directly from Raj Bhavan to Gardenreach Shipbuilders Engineering Limited and there will launch the state-of-the-art warship “Vindhyagiri” of the Indian Navy. After the program, she will return to Delhi in the afternoon. It may be known that after taking the oath of office of the President, the constitutional head of the country had come to Kolkata for civic reception on the invitation of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. However, there is no possibility of the President meeting the Chief Minister on Thursday.
