Many IPS officers in state and Kolkata Police transferred to CID
The West Bengal government has made efforts to further strengthen the intelligence department of the state. On Wednesday, many IPS officers have been transferred by the state government, but most of these officers have been transferred to the Intelligence Department. Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime) of Kolkata Police has been transferred to CID. Along with this, many senior IPS officers of the state police have also been transferred to the intelligence department.
