Mamta is not cooperating with Railways: Railway Minister
The central government has given Rs 12 thousand crore for the expansion of railways in Bengal, but the state government is not providing land to the railways. No help is being received from Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav gave this information in Kolkata before starting the construction work of Purulia station under central projects. He also visited Purulia station. After this, the Railway Minister directed the party MPs and MLAs to submit the detailed design of the station to the Railway Ministry. Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said, “When Mamata Banerjee was the Railway Minister, she only gave long speeches, but did not give financial allocation for the expansion of railways in West Bengal.
