Netaji’s grandson Chandra Bose resigns from BJP
Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose’s grandson Chandra Bose resigned from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), saying the party had not fulfilled its promises to propagate Netaji’s vision. Chandra Bose joined BJP in 2016 and contested elections twice on BJP ticket. He contested the assembly elections in 2016 and the Lok Sabha elections in 2019. He said, ‘When I joined BJP, I was promised that I would be allowed to propagate the inclusive ideology of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose and Sarat Chandra Bose. But nothing like this happened.
