Police and CBI should investigate Kuntal Ghosh’s complaint: Court
Joint Director of CBI and Joint CP Crime will jointly investigate the allegation of harassment leveled by Kuntal Ghosh, arrested in teacher recruitment scam. In the special court of Alipore, Judge Arpan Chatterjee gave this direction during the hearing of the appointment corruption case. Kuntal Ghosh, Niladri Ghosh and Tapas Mandal were produced on this day. Kuntal’s counsel M Nawaz, Niladri and Tapas Mandal’s counsel Chiranjit Biswas presented their arguments. The judge spoke to Kuntal Ghosh. The court ordered to extend the judicial custody of all three till 21 September.
CBI raids in Alipore, search operation continues
CBI has conducted a raid operation in a multi-storey building in Alipore. On Tuesday morning a CBI team went to that apartment. It is said that there is an office of a corporate company in that multi-storey building. Officials of the Central Investigation Agency are conducting a search operation there. The reason for the search is yet to be known. search though Operation continues.
