Fresh anti ragging committee formed in JU
Anti-ragging committee has been constituted afresh after the death of a student in Jadavpur University. Most of the old members have been removed. The names, e-mails and phone numbers of the committee members have also been published again. In the notice published by the Registrar’s Office of the University, it has been said that strict action will be taken against ragging. However, a section of university professors are not ready to accept that this is a new committee.
Anti Ragging Cell meeting in RG Kar today
After Jadavpur University, now there is an allegation of ragging with a student in the hostel of RG Kar Medical College. A written complaint has also been lodged at the police station on Wednesday. On the other hand, after this matter came to light, a meeting of Anti Ragging Cell has been called by the College Council today. Various topics will be considered seriously in this meeting.
