All cases filed against Panchayat elections will be heard on September 18
The hearing of all the cases filed regarding the recently held Panchayat elections in the state will remain adjourned for the time being. A division bench of Chief Justice TS Sivaganam and Justice Hiranmoy Bhattacharya ordered that the hearing of all matters would be held again on September 18. The cases were heard on Thursday. But the Chief Justice said that if all the cases are heard, then the next Panchayat elections will come again. According to court sources, a total of 26 cases have been registered against the panchayat so far. Prominent among these are the lawsuits filed by the opponents.
State government will install 37 lakh smart meters
