Abhishek again criticized the Governor from the ongoing protest stage near Raj Bhavan.
The strike by party workers continued under the leadership of Trinamool Congress national general secretary and MP Abhishek Banerjee. Abhishek has again criticized not only the BJP-led central government but also Governor Dr. CV Anand Bose for allegedly withholding the outstanding amount of Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MNREGA) by the central government. He said that the Honorable Governor is probably facing problems due to the ongoing protest near the Raj Bhavan demanding the rights of the deprived people. In such a situation, the question is that when dozens of BJP leaders and workers reach Raj Bhavan, why do they not face any problem? The Trinamool leader has also attacked the Governor for not meeting the Trinamool delegation here despite continuous protest.
