Strike in Coal India will not be from 5th but from 12th October
For the first time in the history of Coal India Limited (CIL), labor organizations and officers’ associations are face to face. The labor organizations demanded, after investigation, reduction in all the luxuries provided to Coal India officials on the basis of the status of ‘Maharatna Company’ and also withheld one paisa from the increased wages of workers under the National Coal Wage Agreement (NCWA)-11. A three-day strike was announced from October 5 to 7 demanding no cuts, but on the appeal of the Chairman of Coal India, the unions have postponed the strike for the time being. This strike will now take place from 12.
Another death due to dengue in Salt Lake
Again a 52-year-old woman died of dengue in Dattabad, Salt Lake. The name of the deceased is Pratima Mandal. Dengue is mentioned in the death certificate. The death toll due to dengue has increased to 47. According to the government, the death toll from dengue is 3.
JU: Students will get free treatment in case of dengue.
Jadavpur University (JU) will provide free treatment to students in case of dengue. Some students living in the hostel are suffering from dengue. Many students have already left the hostel due to fear of dengue. It has been reported that many students have returned home suffering from dengue. A researcher from the university is still undergoing treatment in the hospital. Along with him, about seven students are now admitted in the hospital. Eight-nine students of the university have fallen victim to dengue. Due to fear, the officials are thinking of vacating the university hostels also.
Whose logo on the ration slip, new dispute started between center and state

But this time a tussle has started between the state and the center regarding whether the logo of Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana will be used on the slips in ration shops or the logo of Vishwa Bangla of the state government. The Center wants the name of Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana to be written on the ration slip, while the state government wants to use the Vishwa Bangla logo.
