West Bengal: BJP’s demand for discussion on CAG report rejected by Speaker, ruckus in Assembly

At the beginning of the budget session in West Bengal State Assembly There was an uproar. On Tuesday, BJP MLAs had given an adjournment motion demanding discussion on the CAG report. But the speaker rejected it. After this, BJP MLAs walked out under the leadership of opposition leader Shubhendu Adhikari. However, Speaker Biman Banerjee did not allow discussion. Biman Banerjee said that this cannot be discussed. When Subhendu Adhikari asked the Speaker why he could not discuss this topic? Speaker Biman Banerjee said, “Now there is no need to discuss this issue in the Assembly. Only after this the BJP MLAs started protesting.
