Trinamool may release manifesto soon

It is being told that Trinamool may mention in its election manifesto how the Chief Minister has started various public welfare projects for the people of the state for the last 12 years and what impact it has had. Schemes like “Kanyashree”, “Rupashree”, “Lakkhi Bhandar” can be included in these. The manifesto may also mention the alleged withholding of funds from Bengal by the Central Government regarding 100 days employment scheme and Central Housing Scheme. Apart from this, by mentioning the ‘Krishak Bandhu’ project started in the state in the year 2019, there is a possibility of comparison with the central government scheme for farmers.

Committee formed to prepare election manifesto

Trinamool’s manifesto will mention different issues on topics like agriculture, economy, national policy, federal structure, sovereignty, inclusion of all sections of the society. The party has formed a committee under the leadership of state financial advisor Amit Mitra to prepare the election manifesto. The committee includes Trinamool MP Derek O’Brien, Sukhendu Shekhar Rai, State Industries Minister Dr. Shashi Panja, State Finance Minister Chandrima Bhattacharya. The committee has held about four meetings to prepare the manifesto. However, the final decision regarding the manifesto will be taken only by Chief Minister and party chief Mamata Banerjee and Trinamool national general secretary Abhishek Banerjee. It cannot be wrong to say that a glimpse of ‘Modi’s guarantee’ versus ‘Didi’s guarantee’ can be seen in Trinamool’s manifesto.
