According to Skymet Weather, there is a possibility of moderate to heavy rain and thundershowers over coastal Tamil Nadu and Andaman and Nicobar Islands on Friday. Light to moderate rain may occur in interior Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Central Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh.
According to Skymet Weather, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain and snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Ladakh, Muzaffarabad and Gilgit-Baltistan.
Regional Meteorological Center (RMC) said that there is a possibility of light to moderate rain in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry till December 4. There are chances of heavy to very heavy rain in the northern coastal region of Tamil Nadu.
The low pressure area visible in the south-east of the Bay of Bengal is likely to concentrate further into a low pressure by December 1, which will gradually turn into a cyclonic storm by December 3. The cyclonic storm is expected to reach the coasts of northern Tamil Nadu and southern Andhra Pradesh on the morning of December 4.
Talking about the weather of Himachal Pradesh, there has been fresh snowfall in the high altitude tribal areas and other high hills. According to the information given by the local weather office, on December 1, there is forecast of rain at some places in the middle and lower hills and rain or snowfall at some places in the higher hills and thereafter dry weather.
The effect of the western disturbance formed in the Bay of Bengal is also being seen in Jharkhand. Sporadic rain occurred in many areas of the state. Right now the weather will be dry. The weather center has said that the situation will remain similar till December 4.
The effect of cold is gradually increasing in Uttar Pradesh. Due to rain and no sunshine, the day on Thursday was colder than other days. There are chances of rain at many places in Uttar Pradesh on Friday and Saturday also. An alert has also been issued by the Meteorological Department regarding this.
According to Skymet Weather, there are chances of light rain at one or two places over Uttarakhand, parts of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Northeast Rajasthan and Bihar, Chhattisgarh and Interior Andhra Pradesh.
