The Ranchi-based meteorological center of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert of rain in East Singhbhum, Seraikela-Kharsawan and West Singhbhum, Sahibganj, Godda, Khunti and Simdega on Monday. The Meteorological Department has said that there will be light rain in some parts of these districts.

Godda’s maximum temperature reached 40 degrees centigrade
Abhishek Anand said that during the last 24 hours, the highest temperature in Jharkhand was recorded in Godda. The maximum temperature recorded at Godda Agricultural Development Center was 40 degrees centigrade. The lowest minimum temperature of 21.6 degrees was recorded in Chaibasa.
