Many states are in the grip of cold wave due to snowfall. Jharkhand is also not untouched by this. Cold wave is going on in Jharkhand since 19th December. On 19-20 December, the mercury of Kanke in Ranchi reached 3 degrees. Even on Friday, the temperature of Kanke was recorded at only 3 degrees. At the same time, due to cold wave of two-three days, the minimum temperature of Hazaribagh district had reached two degrees. However, due to fog since December 22, there has been a slight increase in the minimum temperature. According to the Meteorological Department, the weather pattern in Jharkhand will remain like this. The sky will remain cloudy for a day or two. After this the minimum temperature may remain slightly elevated.
