India Meteorological Department (IMD) has said that there may be rain in the north-west and central regions of the country. According to the IMD report, there are chances of heavy rain and snowfall in the hilly areas of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand till October 17. Due to this, the weather patterns will be seen changing in Delhi, Western Uttar Pradesh and surrounding plains. People will start feeling cold.
According to the information given by the Meteorological Department, heavy rains may be seen in Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana and Delhi from Monday. The Meteorological Department has predicted widespread light to moderate rain or snowfall in the higher peaks during the next four days in Jammu and Kashmir.
South-west monsoon has departed from Jharkhand. Monsoon had entered Jharkhand on June 19. Now there will be no monsoon rains in the state this year. The weather will be dry. Now there will be rain only due to local factors. With the return of monsoon, signs of change in the weather start appearing. Now the wind direction will be from the mountains, the temperature will drop.
According to Skymet Weather, rainfall activities will increase after 24 hours and there may be rain over North Rajasthan, Haryana, Delhi, parts of Western Uttar Pradesh and isolated areas of Tamil Nadu, Rayalaseema and Andhra Pradesh. There is a possibility of light rain in Punjab, North Haryana, Northeast India, Sikkim, Coastal Karnataka and some parts of South Konkan and Goa. There may be light rain at some places in Gujarat.
According to Skymet Weather, during the next 24 hours, light to moderate rain may occur over Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep and Kerala. Light to moderate rain and snowfall is expected in parts of Jammu and Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Ladakh and Himachal Pradesh.
