According to Skymet Weather, during the next 24 hours, light to moderate rain at a few places with heavy falls at one or two places over Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Konkan and Goa, Coastal Karnataka, Kerala and Bihar and Andaman and Nicobar Islands. There is a possibility of rain.
According to Skymet Weather, there are chances of light to moderate rain in Northeast India, Sikkim, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Telangana, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Marathwada, Central Maharashtra, Uttarakhand and East Rajasthan.
According to Skymet Weather, there is a possibility of light rain in Gangetic West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Interior Karnataka, Himachal Pradesh, Delhi, parts of Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir.
There was light rain in Delhi on Saturday, as a result of which the maximum temperature was recorded at 32 degrees Celsius, two degrees below normal. The Meteorological Department has predicted generally cloudy sky with light rain or drizzle on Sunday. Many areas of Rajasthan are experiencing extreme heat in the month of Bhado. The maximum temperature in Jaisalmer on Saturday was 43.5 degrees Celsius, which is a record so far in September. According to the department, there is a possibility of thunder and rain in some parts of Bharatpur, Kota and Jaipur divisions on September 10. Light rain is possible only at isolated places on 11-12 September. According to the Centre, there is a possibility of only sporadic light rain in Bikaner and Jodhpur divisions of Western Rajasthan for the next two days, while the weather is likely to remain mainly dry at most places.
According to Skymet Weather, the cyclonic wind area formed over the central parts of Madhya Pradesh will gradually move towards Uttar Pradesh. Rain activities are expected to increase significantly in many parts of Uttar Pradesh during the next 24 to 48 hours. There may be some reduction in rain on 12th and 13th September. It is expected that around September 14, another cyclonic circulation will pass over Uttar Pradesh via Madhya Pradesh.
