It will rain in Delhi

According to IMD, North India is expected to receive normal and above normal rainfall in February after a drier than normal season in December and January. Rain has increased the cold in some parts of the national capital Delhi. Light rain in some parts of Delhi increased the cold and the maximum temperature in the city dropped to 18.6 degrees Celsius, four notches below the season’s average. Due to western disturbance, there is a possibility of light rain in Delhi-National Capital Region (NCR) on Thursday.

According to the information given by Meteorological Department head and scientist Kuldeep Srivastava, another western disturbance is expected on February 2, due to which there will be a possible change in the weather of Delhi. After February 4 and 5, the dense fog will reduce and a significant change will be seen in the weather. There will be dense fog in the morning and evening.

Orange alert in Himachal Pradesh

The first heavy snowfall of the year in the tribal areas and other high altitude areas of Himachal Pradesh disrupted normal life and led to the closure of 134 roads including four national highways. The local weather office has issued an orange alert of heavy snowfall and rain in five districts – Shimla, Kullu, Chamba, Kinnaur and Lahaul and Spiti on February 1.

Yellow alert in Uttarakhand

In Jammu and Kashmir, there was snowfall again in the upper areas including Zojila axis on Srinagar-Leh highway while it rained in the plains. The Meteorological Department has also issued an avalanche warning for six districts of Jammu and Kashmir, Poonch, Baramulla, Bandipora, Kupwara, Doda and Ganderbal. On Wednesday, the Uttarakhand Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for heavy rain, snowfall and thunderstorms in some parts of the hilly areas of the state for the next 24 hours.

Chance of rain in Rajasthan

Due to the impact of a new western disturbance, light rain occurred in many areas of Rajasthan. There is a possibility of light rain in the northern parts of the state. The weather will be mainly dry in the remaining parts. Due to the activation of another new western disturbance on February 3-4, there is a strong possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder in some parts of Jodhpur, Bikaner, Jaipur and Bharatpur divisions.

The weather patterns in Jharkhand are likely to change once again. There may be rain in the state on February 1. The weather may clear up from February 2. The minimum temperature may increase due to change in weather patterns. There may be a decrease in maximum temperature. Due to this, people will feel the cold more.

According to Skymet Weather, light to moderate rain and thundershowers may be seen over Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, West Uttar Pradesh, parts of Rajasthan, South Kerala, South Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam and Arunachal Pradesh. .
