Weather Forecast: There will be heavy rains in Himachal Pradesh, know the weather condition of other states including UP-Bihar

According to Skymet Weather, a cyclonic circulation is over central Madhya Pradesh and adjoining areas. The Monsoon Trough is currently moving northwards from its normal position and will remain so for the next few days. Western Disturbance is being seen as a trough.

According to Skymet Weather, during the next 24 hours, moderate to heavy rains are expected over Northeast India, Uttarakhand, Jharkhand, Bihar, West Bengal, East Uttar Pradesh and Konkan and Goa. On the other hand, there may be heavy rains at one or two places with light to moderate rains in many parts of Odisha, West Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh.

According to Skymet Weather, scattered rain is expected in parts of South India, rest of North India and Madhya Pradesh.

The rainy season continues in Himachal Pradesh. A red alert has been issued for rain in Shimla. In view of the rain alert, it has been decided to keep all educational institutions closed on 23 and 24 August.

In its latest forecast, the Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of heavy rains continuing in most of the districts of Uttarakhand for the next two-three days. Orange alert for rain has been issued in seven districts of Tehri, Dehradun, Pauri, Bageshwar, Nainital, Udham Singh Nagar and Haridwar and red alert for rain in Tehri, Dehradun, Pauri, Champawat, Nainital and Udham Singh Nagar for Wednesday and Thursday.
