Pollution is not showing any signs of reducing in Delhi. Delhi’s air remains poisonous even on Tuesday. If we look at the data of the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the air quality in Delhi remains in the ‘severe’ category. AQI 432 in Anand Vihar, R.K. 437 has been recorded in Puram, 439 in Punjabi Bagh and 410 in New Moti Bagh. Earlier, a slight improvement was seen in Delhi’s air quality on Monday, while the maximum temperature was recorded at 31.5 degrees Celsius, which is one degree more than the season’s average.
According to the Meteorological Department, on Tuesday i.e. today the sky is forecast to be mainly clear in Delhi and the maximum temperature is expected to be 31 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature is expected to be 14 degrees Celsius.
Meanwhile, a relieving news has come from the Meteorological Department. In fact, the department has said that soon a new western disturbance may hit the mountains. In such a situation, it is expected that its effect will be seen in the plains. The conditions which are going to be favorable to eliminate the pollutants present in the air due to western disturbance.
If we look at the bulletin issued by the Meteorological Department, a fresh western disturbance can be seen in the high altitude areas of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand from late Tuesday night. Due to this effect the weather may change.
Due to western disturbance, the Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of rain and snowfall in Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh from November 7 to November 10. Whereas in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand there may be rain between 8th and 10th November. The weather may also change in Rajasthan and Punjab during 8 to 9 November.
Due to Western Disturbance, the Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of favorable conditions being created for removal of pollutants in Delhi from Tuesday night. Due to this, unseasonal rains may be seen in north-western India.
According to Skymet Weather, there is a possibility of moderate to heavy rain in Tamil Nadu, southern Andhra Pradesh and southern Karnataka on Tuesday. There are chances of light to moderate rain in coastal Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Lakshadweep and Andaman and Nicobar Islands. There may be moderate rain at one or two places with light rain over South Odisha and South Telangana.
According to Skymet Weather, after 24 hours there may be rain and snowfall in Gilgit-Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Ladakh and Jammu and Kashmir. No significant improvement is expected in the air quality index of Delhi and NCR.
Meteorologists have expressed the possibility of rain in the business city of Mumbai and its surrounding areas between November 8 and November 11. After the rains, Mumbaikars can get relief from pollution.
