Attention Seasonal activities have intensified in the Arabian Sea. According to Skymet Weather, a cyclonic circulation is forming over the South East Arabian Sea, Lakshadweep and surrounding parts of Kerala. Due to this, a low pressure area is expected to develop by October 17 which may become more intense and move in the west-northwest direction. It is estimated that it may turn into the first cyclone after monsoon.

The IMD said light snowfall occurred at Gulmarg Skiing Resort, Peer Ki Gali, Simthan Pass, Gurez, Tulail, Sonamarg, Zojila Pass on the Srinagar-Leh National Highway and some places in the Union Territory of Ladakh.
Apart from Kashmir, the cold knocked on the high hills of Uttarakhand on Monday due to snowfall and rain in the lower areas. There has been a huge drop in temperature in Himachal Pradesh due to rain and snowfall in the upper areas of the state. Along with this, the Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert warning of heavy rain and storm on Monday. According to the India Meteorological Department, the effect of western disturbance is likely to continue in the state till Tuesday and it is likely to stop from Wednesday.
It was cloudy in the state capital Shimla and it rained in the city as well as in Solan. Dalhousie received six cm rainfall while Shimla, Solan, Mashobra, Narkanda, Palampur and Paonta Sahib received one to four mm rainfall.
IMD scientist Soma Sen in Delhi said that Delhi NCR has been cloudy since Monday morning. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of light rain and thunderstorm in Delhi late evening or night. The sky of Delhi will remain cloudy on Tuesday also.
According to Skymet Weather, scattered rain is expected in Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, parts of Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, North Madhya Pradesh, parts of Andhra Pradesh and South Telangana. There are chances of hailstorm in some parts of Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan. Let us tell you, it rained in some parts of Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh, the joint capital of both the states, on Monday, due to which there was a slight drop in the temperature.
